TURNIP Events
On November 30th, at 2.30 p.m. in the school building, Marco Bianchi will present his book of recipes “Le Ricette dei Magnifici 20”. You are all welcome to take part.
Marco Bianchi (Milan, 1978) is the perfect mix between science and culinary arts. With a passion for chemistry, he spent his early years on his microscope, studying plants and insects. The rest of the time, he helped his mum in the kitchen, cooking and inventing new recipes.
Today, they call him the chef-scientist.
Marco Bianchi graduated as a Technician in Biochmical Research and has specialized in the Monitoring of food processing. He is currently employed at the IFOM Foundation (Institute of Molecular Oncology) and collaborates with the IEO Foundation (European Institute of Onclogy) and the Umberto Veronesi foundation.
Since 2010, he has published his first 2 books “I Magnifici 20. I buoni alimenti che si prendono cura di noi”, and “Le Ricette dei Magnifici 20” which mention the 20 food families which provide a natural protection against metabolic disease, cardiovascular disease and cancer, when introduced daily in a correct diet programme and supported by a healthy lifestyle.
Thanks to the television program “Tesoro salviamo i ragazzi!”, on FoxLife, Marco Bianchi has brought his experience at the service of a group of families concerned about the unhealthy eating habits of their children.
He helps people understand the implications of a correct diet and, through practical suggestions and easy recipes, helps families adopt a healthy lifestyle.
