Submit an Enquiry
Thank you for considering the International School of Bergamo for your child’s schooling. New students are welcome in all year groups and may join us at any point in the academic year. Please note, however, that acceptance is subject to the number of spaces available in the desired year group and the discretion of our Senior Management Team.

Application
After receiving your login details, please log in to Open Apply and follow the instructions. The candidate’s academic record and other relevant documents should be readily available as you will need them to complete the application. Specifically, you will need:
- A copy of the child’s birth certificate or passport
- School records for the last two years
- Referee contact details (this should be a teacher)
- Results of any special academic or psychological evaluations (if applicable)
- Any other relevant educational documentation
- Vaccination/immunisation records

Visit Us
Prospective families are encouraged to visit us before joining to experience our modern, cutting-edge learning facilities, meet the staff, and find out more about our offering. If a visit is not possible for any reason, we will organise an online interview between the family and school representatives.

Assessment
Consideration of admission will be based on the candidate's academic records and proficiency in the English language. When applying for a place above Grade 7 level, candidates must take an assessment in Maths and English (and Italian, if they are native Italians). The purpose of our entrance exam is to determine which grade the applicants should join and whether additional learning support will be necessary. Applicants for Grade 3 and above may be assessed, depending on their academic records.
